Dr. Andrew Troupes DMD
Born and raised in Charlotte, N.C., Dr. Troupes received a B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and a Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from East Carolina University. Dr. Troupes is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Troupes enjoys skiing, playing disc golf, watching the Carolina Tar Heels, and spending time with his family and friends.
Dr. Asia Boyd, DDS
Dr. Boyd received her B.S. with honors in health education from East Carolina University and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry, and the North Carolina Dental Society.
Originally from Winston-Salem, Dr. Boyd relocated to the Wilmington area with her husband and 4-year-old daughter to be closer to the coast. She enjoys sewing, reading, and playing with her daughter at the beach.
Dr. Preston Schryer, DDS
Dr. Schryer grew up just outside Baltimore, MD. He graduated from the University of Maryland’s dental school after completing a B.S. in biology at University of Maryland-College Park. Dr. Schryer enjoys being active, spending time on the water, and taking new adventures.
Dr. John Yates Williams, DDS
Dr. Williams was born and raised in Wilmington, NC. After receiving his B.S. with honors in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington, he worked in finance for several years before pursuing a career in dentistry. When Dr. Williams isn’t fixing teeth, or catching waves, he can be found trying to keep up with his young daughter.
Tammy graduated from Jacksonville’s Coastal Carolina Community College in 1987 after studying Dental Assisting. She enjoyed a long career chair-side and earned her certifications in orthodontics, sedation with nitrous, infection control, OSHA compliance, and insurance filing to increase her knowledge across all aspects of dental practice. She gradually transitioned to the business side of dentistry and has enjoyed every aspect of it.
Tammy has been married for almost three decades and has a son and a granddaughter Gracelyn. She loves to read, listen to music, and be Grammy Tammy “GT” to Gracelyn. Tammy also enjoys rescuing and healing animals of any kind so they know and feel well-deserved love. She believes we all matter in this life great or small.

Kayla graduated from Catawba Valley Community College in May 2017 with her AAS in Dental Hygiene. She and her husband moved to Wilmington in 2017. Together they enjoy going to the beach and hanging out with their cat, May May.
